Privacy Policy
Urban Dunes was founded by NYC parents, and we take your family’s privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the messages you send us through it. It doesn’t cover the third-party services we link to, which have their own policies.
The short version
- We only collect what you choose to give us: your contact details and your message when you reach out, and your email address if you join our newsletter.
- Bookings, memberships, party payments and waivers are handled by ROLLER, our booking provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- We use common analytics and advertising tools, like Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand how our website is used and to show our ads to people who may be interested. You can opt out of them.
- We don’t sell your name, email or phone number to anyone.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete your information.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, phone number, email address and the message you write.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Emails and calls: anything you choose to share when you write to us or call us, for example a party date or a question about your child’s class.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting server records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of the visit. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and keep them only as long as needed for those purposes.
We also use analytics and advertising tools (described in section 5) that collect information about how you use our website, such as the pages you view, the links you click, the device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region) and the website or ad that brought you here. These tools use cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
Information from booking and waivers
When you book a visit, buy a membership, book a party or sign our liability waiver, you do it on pages run by ROLLER, our booking and waiver provider. ROLLER shares the booking and waiver details with us so we can run your visit (for example your name, contact details, your children’s names and ages, and what you booked). Payment card details are processed by ROLLER’s payment partners and are never stored by us.

- To answer your questions and requests.
- To plan and run your visit, party, class, camp or field trip.
- To send our newsletter and updates about new classes, events and offers, but only if you agreed to receive them.
- To understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it.
- To measure our advertising and show our ads to people who may be interested in Urban Dunes, on platforms like Google, Facebook and Instagram.
- To keep our website and our venue safe, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
- To meet our legal obligations, for example tax and record-keeping rules.
If you tick the consent box on our contact form, we’ll also add you to our customer list and send you our newsletter and updates. Ticking it is optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
ROLLER may send you booking confirmations and reminders by email or text message. We will not send you marketing text messages unless you’ve separately agreed to receive them.
6. Children's privacy
Our play space is built for children, but our website is meant for their parents and caregivers. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website. Information about a child, such as a name and age for a booking or waiver, is provided by the parent or guardian.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires (for example, for tax records or waiver records). When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe.
8. How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website, access limited to the people who need it, and trusted service providers. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a breach ever affects your information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
9. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we’ll remove you.
- Access and correction: you can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law (for example, signed waivers or tax records).
To make a request, email info@urbandunes.co. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new service or the law changes. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
